Blood Song is a solo Ramirez project, and from what’s on display here I guess you’d say the project is a mixture of dark fixed noise drone matter with some brooding ambient walled noise undertones. The project is seemingly themed around 1982 slasher/psycho horror movie of the same name, and the film told of a psychopath who escapes from a mental institution and starts a murder spree, which ends in the pursuing of a young handicapped girl, who once got a blood transfusion from him

This release features just a single track entitled “All In Your Mind” which comes in at around the twenty minute mark.  The track consists of one long murky & grim tone sustain, and this is played over by a locked down, blunt & muffled line of rumbling-to-slightly-crackle bound noise drone.  The track sort of pressers down on you in a very airless, and bleak manner, with Ramirez nicely managing to recreate a nice nihilistic 1980’s air.

All told this project has quite a distinctive bleak & muffled based noise drone/ grim ANW feel to it, that doesn’t really feel like any of his other many projects. So I look forward to hearing more from this project in the future.
