Christ Eraser - A Tapestry Made Of Angel Flesh [Dyning Monolith HNW - 2026]A Tapestry Made Of Angel Flesh blends thick ‘n’ crudely tumbling walled noise, with a sinisterly warbling ‘n’ wavering ambient undercarriage. This twenty-minute digital EP is the first release from this Alabama-based project. Cover artwork-wise, we have a monochrome/ lo-fi/ murky picture of what looks like creepy looking mannequin masked face figure, with the project's name written in crude, dripping blood-like text. Drop by here to check it out.
The single self-titled track rolls in at four seconds over the twenty-minute mark. It’s a ‘wall’ that blends a constantly tumbling low end, slight choppy hiss with this mid to high-pitched warbling ‘n; wavering element, that’s just poking out of the surface like a yellowed and creepily decaying bone fragment. In its last few minutes, the track drops into a blend of thick gnarly bass churn and high-pitched tonal sear.
The ‘wall’ here balances very well its brutality and sinister atmospheric sourness. All in all, A Tapestry Made Of Angel Flesh a decent opening shot from Christ Eraser- and I look forward to hearing more from the project down the line. Roger Batty
