Foul - When There's No More Room In Hell, The Dead Will W [Bane Records - 2011]“When There's No More Room In Hell, The Dead Will Walk The Earth” is the welcome return of the great & consistent US based HNW project Foul. And on offer here is single near on forty minute track of morrish & static bound HNW. Foul is the main project of J. Cadle(White Torture, ...Massacre & Oasis Of Fear), and the project been dormant for well over a year. As the releases title suggests it's themed around George A. Romero late 1970’s zombie classic Dawn of The Dead. The single thirty six minute long track is built around a tight caustic sonic weave of slightly juddering ‘n’ roaring static drone lines and clicking ‘n’ hacking staple gun like static jitterings. The ‘wall’ has a nice ugent and taut feeling to it, and Cadle keeps it mainly fixed & always thick though-out it’s runtime. From time to time I think I can make of subtle descends, brutal purrs or slight shifts from the juddering’ roaring drone lines, or more pressing and persistent attacks from the clicking ‘n’ hacking element- but I think a lot of this is in ones imagination & of course Mr Cadle is a highly talented wall-maker. Sadly this was pressed in a extremely small & criminally ltd edition of just four copies- so understandable those are all now gone , but it’s still available as a free download here(with Mr Cadle's blessing). Lets hope it get a full/ proper release at some point in the future as it up there with some of this projects best work Roger Batty
