El Fog - Reverberate Slowly [Moteer - 2007]

Reverberate slowly is a perfect title for this collection of late night/early mourning minimal beatscapes and slight glitchy touched ambience. Giving the feeling though out of just about falling asleep mellowness. Nothing is every rushed just softly-softly tones for late night drives and early mourning come downs.

The tracks are built around slow dusty and crackling electronic beats and glitchy sways. With minimal organ pumping riffs, or laid back bass wonderings that barely move. Uncurling soothing vibes- that wonder along slow melodic paths of hazy slow backbeats, or loped easy listening  unfolds with tinkling percussive elements. I guess this really is have to in the mood type music, if your wanting music where a lot happens or there’s surprising textually and sound elements, look else where. This is purely to chill out to loosen your limbs and to drift into a semi-conscious state.

Rather effective minimal moodscapes that will chill you to the bone. Another worthwhile & Quality bound release from the constantly interesting UK based Moteer label.
