I am A Slut - My Lo-Fi Static Statement [Bane Records - 2010]

I am A Slut may sound like a Power Electronics project, but instead there an polish based project who deal in very rewarding & often quite stripped jitter ‘n’ judder bound HNW.

This CDR features one seventeen & a half minute track, and though the release is fairly short and almost ep like in its length- it’s one hell of a great track. The tracks built around a very tight and sometimes subtly shifting ‘wall’  or map  of jittering and juddering static patterns.  It often has very slightly harmonic tendencies running through it’s tense yet highly appealing length, so I suspected  that a small element of a song or soundtrack music has been used to make this. The structure of the track is basically one long series of tight and interlocking static jitters ‘n’ judders that are pulled around the listeners ears in a very appealing and highly moorish manner.

This is my first taster of this project and I safely say it won’t be my last!- so if you enjoy nicely moulded and controlled jitter ‘n’ judder bound HNW this really is a must have item- this is up there with some of the best work in this side of the HNW genre.
