Cementimental - Your Money; Moon Made [Cementimental Records - 2007]

Your Money;moon made brings together pulsing and throbbing electronic space noise, with chugging melancholy punked meets arty guitar craft & forays into more subtle & surreal soundworlds. All making a rather intriguing and often dangerous intergalactic musical trip.

At times it feels like it could be from the soundtrack for some strange and lost sci-fi movie from the late 70’s with it’s often harmonic plonks and pulses of electronics weaved into cold melodic pattens. At others times it feels like been sucked into space’s airless void through a hole in an space-ships walls, as the electro noise elements singe, boil, and melt your brain.  There’s a nice balance here between the more divined and often eerier tracks, and the heat of the sun noise boils, meaning this mangers to be both atmospheric and skin flaying noisy. The last few tracks dart into quieter more subtle skies with a mixes of strange electronic bird sounds, harmonica buzzers, strange rhythmic elements and Resident like takes on synthesized jazz tones. Like after your strange and near life ending galactic trip you’ve been marooned on a  bizarre reality bending planet.

Yet another different side to this highly creative UK noise/ what every project, that shows real invention and talent, stepping out from just been purely another noise record to been something rather special. To buy direct, etc find you’re self to here.
