Gruntsplatter - The Organ Harvest [Audiosavant - 2004]

Picture the scene if you can, something has gone very wrong. The world as we know it has been sucked into a hellish apocalypse.

All around you buildings are slowly crumbing away. The sky is dark crimson, your throat is burning, and your vision seems blurred all the time. All you want to do is find a safe place to rest and find some fresh water. Every one else you know unexplainable disappeared this morning when all this started, are you the only one left?

Right I hope you have the right frame of mind now, because this is what Gruntsplatter’s The Organ Harvest feels like. What you might hear in above situation as you troll the crumbing streets looking for signs of life. The music is  made up of  deathly black encrusted drones, with  dragging and clunking  metallic sounds - there seems very little air and no light at all.

Stand out tracks are: With Sword, with hunger, with Death- with it’s rumbling electric pylon sound mixed with, a liquid like quality sound and a nice tense atmosphere. Anaesthetized   envelopes you with a dense burning like sound and metallic scrapings all under lit by sinister cinematic tones.

Some of it‘s tad similar, but there’s enough audio Fuel to power your own personal doomsday
