Delinquent Schoolgirls - Delinquent Schoolgirls( DVD & Blu Ray) [VCI Entertainment - 2025]Now here’s an extremely sleazy, bad taste, and wholly unwholesome take on 1970’s sexploitation comedy form. The film regards three escaped criminally insane sex addicts heading to a girls' school during a vacation, where only a handful of students- played by large-breasted actresses- are left. The film is highly misogynistic, homophobic, and racist- with the rape/ nasty sleaze often present with playful comic music. It’s a picture that is truly wrong on every level, with the viewer's jaw dropping further and further as the whole thing unfolds. Here from VCI Entertainment’s The Psychotronica Collection is a dual DVD & Blu Ray release of the film, including an archive commentary track, and a few trailers/ shorts Delinquent Schoolgirls (Bad Girls, Scrubbers 2, The Sizzlers, Carnal Madness, The Love Maniacs) appeared in the year 1975. The American production was filmed in September 1973 in Santa Barbara, California.
It was directed/co-written by Greg Corarito. Between the late sixties and the early nineties, he had five other feature credits- these took in sleazy gangster drama The Fabulous Bastard from Chicago (1969), smutty horror comedy The Sadistic Hypnotist (1969), big-budget porn-focused romantic drama Diamond Stud (1970), X-rated western Hard On The Trail (1972), and The Bikini Keys (1992). It would certainly be great to see some of his other films released, as they do sound rather intriguing.
The film kicks off very sweaty/ skewed manner- as we see a man being held down, and receiving electro treatment- his eyes bulging with dribble running down his face. He tries to get up but is manhandle then thrown down again, before seemingly blacking out. He’s dragged back to the prison cell he shares with two other men, and we get to meet our three criminally insane perverts- Richard ‘big dick’ Peters (Bob Minor), a ex black American footballer & convicted rapist. Unhinged and perverse ex-stand-up comic Carl C. Clooney(Michael Pataki), who is constantly doing bad impressions. And manic queer Bruce Wilson (Stephen Stucker).
We next move to an isolated private girls' school, which is winding down for the holidays. All but a handful of the girls are left in the charge of thick-haired, bespeckled, and strict Dr. Baxter (John Alderman). Here we move from the ‘girls’ doing gym with no bras on, swimming with see-through costumes, wandering around topless, and light lesbian encounters.
Are ‘perverse three’ escape- making their way through the dusty backwoods, they come across the small holding of Earl- played wonderfully by a buck-toothed George 'Buck' Flower. His large breasted wive is constantly bothering him for sex, but he won’t stir- so it’s up to Dick Peters to get down to sexual assault, which later, rather akwardly turns into pleasure for both parties.
As the film unfolds, the sleaze/ wrongness of it carries on. We have a grey-haired and moustached scientist teacher who is drug/ hpyoziing one of the girls, getting her to strip her underwear. And Dr Baxter has a shoe and nylon fetish. But as you can imgine it’s not until our perverted three get to the school- the whole thing gets even more depraved- with female large-breasted chiefs get raped as comic music plays, swimpool make outs turn violent, a floppy and muddy big-breasted bitch fight, and a gym full of girls is berated/ leered at/ abused by the three. With some kung-fu cheese thrown in for good measure.
It most certainly goes without saying that Delinquent Schoolgirls, won’t be for everyone, and if you are in any way easily offended/ PC, avoid this like the plague. But if you have a penchant for bad taste, plain wrong, and dirtily sleazy, then this will appeal.
The region-free dual disc set features, apparently, a 4k can. Yes, the colours and general definition is fine, though you can most certainly see the film’s 70s age, and in a few places it looks a little ropy.
On the extras side, we just get one main thing- an archive commentary track with lead actor Bob Minor and psychotronic expert, Elijah Drenner. This is a very laid-back and chatty affair- not sure I learned much though, as Minor has little or no memory of the film. Though we do get a few stories, and Drenner gives bios of the cast as they appear, many of whom did nothing else besides this. We find out that Minor was most known as a stuntman, and this was his first decent acting role. Unfortunately, there are a fair few breaks in the track- on the whole, I guess it’s an ok one play affair.
Otherwise, we get a just over two-minute short about the Psychotronica film genre, and a trailer for the film. The sleeve has reversible artwork.
If you enjoy just plain wrong/ bad taste/ morally corrupt sexploitation, which often makes you feel awkward and icky, then Delinquent Schoolgirls will be your bag. It's just a pity there couldn’t have been more recent extras on the disc.
