 Nackt Insecten - Sick Animal Eyes [At War With False Noise - 2006]Sick animal Eyes is a world of a sickly gloom ridden drone and sinister harmonics, mixed with slight noise shudders. Often coming off like a grimy and distributed version of Nurse With Wounds Soliloquy for Lilth. Really you feel like you’ve dropped into some pitch black subterranean world, stumbling the way along try to feel and sense where you are. On offer three tracks in all running around the 10 to 15 minute mark each. The first track Ascension into Yr Ideal, is pressing in grey drone work, lit by shorting electrical boil, that builds up to a more pushing guitar drone, over which avant jazzy hands down the cark board squeal is added. Next is Monks wine,which builds up temple pressing dread filled harmonics beautiful. You really feel like your face is hovering over a endless abyss, tasting charred flesh in your mouth, you eyes slightly watering, as the sound inmates up, and deep down under the yawning drone, every now and then you can make out guitar screams, very far off and muffled but there, like torture victims whimpers from another room. Lastly we have Circadian rhythm, where a deep ominous drone loops off its self- gaining dark depth and weight of sound, building up to an intense ritual like drone.
