Madam Padam is a recently started HNW/ ANW  project from Paris- and as far as I can gather this nineteen-minute release is its first formal length presentation. rouges à lèvres OU lèvres rouges is a rewarding example of quietly busy and manic wall-craft, which is edged with a woozily drifting quality.

The release is a self-released digital download- with the cover artwork featuring a hazed picture of a red painted lip woman laying on a bed face on. The release can be found here, as a name your price download 

rouges à lèvres OU lèvres rouges( Lipsticks Or Red Lips) takes in a single self titled track that roles in at 19.02 mark.  The ‘wall’ is built around a loose-yet-busy and hazed blend of small-grained rattling ‘n’ hack and constricted bass pelt. From time to time we get off pattern sudden more clear pelts and hits added into the mix, and this along with the slight warping & wonky quality of the main elements creates this woozy sort of quality- as if ones high on absence alcohol glow. The whole track remains very busy and detailed in its attack, and the clear addition makes for often quite jarring surprises- and on a few occasions, I swung round from my headphone playing of the track, thinking the sound came from nearby me.

This release appeared around a month back, with nothing else released since- so I do hope they’ll be more from Madam Padam as what we have here is a fairly creative and original take on the wall-noise craft. And I’d love to hear how this project develops down the line, and I rather like the more sleazed glamour themes of the project too, as this is fairly distinctive too.
