Elettronica Ultras - Untitled [Archivio Audio Anonimo - 2020]Elettronica Ultras is one of the more recent projects from Swish based noisemaker Anto S, who is most known for his creatively layered & kinky wall noise project Anonymous Masturbaudioum. Untitled takes in two tracks, and the sound here is raw/analogue focused walled noise- that’s both battering & coldly intense. The release appeared late last year, coming as either a CDR (sadly sold out) or a digital download. The CDR features a stuck on sticker of the projects logo- and comes presented in a clear baggie- this features a stuck on a picture of lines of people standing in a stadium with blank robot faces, apparently, it’s meant to be a statement regarding the pandemic that’s presently sweeping the globe.
The tracks here are both untitled with the full release sliding in at the thirty-three-minute mark. The first track here is the longest, and slides in at just over the twenty-minute mark. What we have here is set old school walled noise in it’s most battering form. The ‘wall’ brings together rapidly ripping ‘n’ rolling low-end, with a topping of skittering & scuttling thinner static grain- the low end is raging & bothersome, while it’s topping is both gritty & grinding. The whole thing is pushed along at quite a speed, and feels like the sonic equivalent of been dragged behind a train through tunnel, as sparks arc 'n' jump around you.
The second track hits around the thirteen-minute mark- here once again we find a rapid low-end & a thinner static topping- the low end has a grinding rumble quality, and the topping is very grainy and rattling. If the first track was you been dragged through a train tunnel at top speed- then this track finds the pace eased back some, as the low end gets more bone drilling & the static top becomes more lose/ less defined.
If you enjoy nasty & coldly baying walled noise that’s purely focused on simply raging intensity, then Untitled will certainly be for you- to hear samples & download direct head here Roger Batty
