It’s a four track release that initially appeared to be an EP, but the tracks are all very long- the shortest being ten mintues, and the longest passing the fifteen -minute mark.. so it's probably more like a full LP with long tracks, each titled with Roman numerals I-IV, and with a total runtime of just under fifty mintues. It if were on vinyl it would probably need to be a double LP. But instead, it was released in a 6-panel digipak package and limited to only 300 released this past December. The press release for this album states 'this as a demonstration of how Otavan Veret decipher the pulse of the great cosmic filaments'

I put the CD without reading the press release or having any idea what to expect, and the first sounds I heard were drones-simple drones-like a vacuum thru reverb, but that soon faded and started to float away into dark ambient void like tones... voice of the abyss type stuff.. the whispers of shadows to each other in the wind.. deep atmospheric tones that seem to transmit from distant space directly into my headphones...this went on for fifteen minutes and I felt like I was floating.. I turned off the light and continued my ride.

The next track had more of an organic living breathing feel.. like Gods' apnea machine, the slow methodical drawn pulsating patches that sound like a sleeping beast. The third cut changes direction from the first one and adds more light into the darkness.. long spatial organ tones, generating sustain and stretched tones with subtle background percussion with deep reverb and echo delay...imagine floating over polar ice caps, dropping rocks into the snow., each one hitting the powder and ice below - echoing thru the fjords. For the final track- the mood returns to the dark sombre vibe from the early tracks, building a dreamlike state where one can simply drift away into a stellar ethereal journey and escape the anxiousness and routine of the day.
