Swallowing Bile - What You Deserve... [Distorted Visions - 2013]

The charmingly named Swallowing Bile is a Harsh Noise/Harsh Noise Wall/Power Electronics project from rural Upstate New York. Behind the project is one Ethan Ebeling, also of Monolith Of Shit & Pussy Bitch(which are both collaborative projects with dense & brutalizing US HNW project Wet Dream Asphyxiation), and it started at some point in 2012, and so far has released 13 releases, which take in spilt CDR releases & stand alone tapes.

"What You Deserve..." is a c20 tape that offers up four slices of unforgiving & militant HNW. The plain tape features just a tipexed A & B on either side of tape, and it comes in a basic black & white sleeve that features a picture of military machine gun.

The tape features two tracks per side, and on side A we have “You’re All Guilty” & “Under This Boot”. The first ‘wall’ is a unrelenting & dense mix of rolling ‘n’ rumbling bass bound  noise texturing, that’s lined by thinner yet no less intense hissing ‘n’ jittering static- this track feels akin to getting masses of liquid concrete poured continual into both of your ears.
The second ‘wall’ focuses in on a rapid & overloaded thick bass gallop, which is weaved by distant & smaller locked down jittering ‘n’ spluttering tones- this track feels like been endlessly rode over by a mass of a 100 or so wild horses.

One side two we have “Open Season” & “ What You Deserve.....”, and the first ‘wall’ is built around mid-paced looped bass roasting that is lashed by a small grain searing ‘n’ whipping tones- this track brings to mind crawling  though a baking sand storm, as your skin reddens then blisters & gets continual lashed by painful sand grain. As this track progress there’s a rather effective buffeting almost 3d like feel that appears, which nicely turns up the intensity even more.
The second ‘wall’ brings together a very rapid & unrelenting bass bound battering, which is snaked by thinner splintering static- this track feels like your in the middle of a war field with constant amassed artillery raining down around you, as soil keeps continual lashing & ripping at your flesh.

This C20 tape offers up four truly intense & brutalizing slices of walled-noise, and this release is certainly more for the seasoned wall-head, than the HNW newbie. This is the kind of release that forces you down then sonically brutalizers you until it’s bitter end- with no let up or break for air.
