This is the second tape released by project after a now out of print C60 on Satan’s Din & this tape appears on Portugal based tape label narcolepsia; offering up a C50 worth of material.  On Side one we have a track entitled ‘The Gate’  which takes up most of the side & it’s a effective, clunking & grim mixture of violent ritual metallic banging’s, jittering static tone grain, & the brooding drone or echo drift. The track is mostly very oppressive, thick & noisy in it’s feel with most of it's time focusing in on more clunking metallic dungeon like tones with the more atmospheric, jittering & dread-filled other elements arising ever so often out of the clunking sonic nightmare  state.

Side two is taken up by a track entitled ‘The Abyss’ and this  is more dread filled, chilling & less percussive ritualistic than the first side, through it’s still very dense & Viscous in it’s sonic presences. The track opens with a thick, black & purring synth drone which is added to over time by:s discordant string picks, slo-mo bass fluctuations, distant vocals like moans, blacked feed-back buzzer & dwells, layers of dammed drone matter & a general feeling of thick/ suffocating dread.
 
It feels like the first side of the tape is like a calling-up of something horrifying & shapelessly dread filled. With the second side been when the 'thing' appears in front of the hapless & now damned summoner. So all told an grimly sonic & dread- slippery work of dammed audio worship & regret in two parts.
