Through-out the eight tracks and near on hours worth of  playing time, the sound here is so much more grittier, nasty and unforgiving with little of their playful comic edge of the past appearing. Things start off nicely ‘n’ Crusty with The biggest cock in Christendom which is built around a fuzzed and corrupted tango like rhythmic patten to which S&S showily pile on layers & layers of guitar noise, weird effects and more and more feedback. All giving the feeling like a acid fed voodoo dance that just pounds and pounds around your head.

Mr And Mrs Gingerbread Hawaii takes demented japer core and amps it up to near explosion, Go put your head against the speakers and I’m sure your ear drums will pop with the tracks hammering attack. The title track stars with a few discordant piano tinkles before smothering the listener with this huge stuck ‘n’ muffled riff that feels like they’ve fed it through a radio then slightly detuned it. But there’s a real cinematic dynamic going under under the pounding as the pair feed through edgy and horror filled string like drone lines. Then they suddenly stop re-load with a new riff and kick back in once more to give you one last kicking that’s tinged with wavering psychedelic and sea-sick intent.

With Kuss Mich Meine Liebe S&S turn their hypnotic riff craft littered with bizarre elements up to ten for a truly brain melting experience. One of the bands greatest, fucked-up and consistent album thus far and with out doubt one of the great 'Riff' albums of the year.
