Carved image of emptiness - Rust in Peace [Stygian crypt - 2007]

Carved image of emptiness is  lo-fi and a  offten a little shaky mix of pounding Ministry like beat craft, looped fuzzed evil sounding guitar riffs, lo-grade glitch electronics, horror soundtrack and the odd avant edge popping up here and there.

Though hardly the most original thing your likely come across it does manage to side-step a lot of the cringe inducing modern industrial tendencies, managing here and to create a nice tangible feel of atmospheric evil and oddness. Weaving in struck doomy piano cords, discordant, creepy horror edges and weird vocal effects. Most of the tracks are drum machine powered, but record in suitable lo-fi and creaking manner to bring out the tracks more jagged edges. One of the more effective and clever rhythmic moments sounds like shorting electrics, like Frankenstein's monster getting pumped up ready to go.

An effective enough collection of pounding grimy  beats ‘n’ guitars tracks embedded with some moments of great haphazard prime evil atmospherics.
