Sado Rituals - Three Times Infinite [Gates Of Hypnos - 2025]Three Times Infinite is an eighty-eight-minute dive into droning & juddering wall craft, with a subtle industrial undercurrents. Poland’s Sado Rituals is often known for its more layered, and at times detailed/ creative takes on all things ‘wall’- but this recent(ish) digital release is much simpler and straightforward walling. The release can be found here. Cover artwork-wise, we have a monochrome shot of a star-studded galaxy overlaid by three grey infinite loops. Subject/theme-wise, we find out it’s dedicated to the greatness of the creator. Prayer to some, torture to others..
The single track comes in at one hour, twenty-eight minutes, and eight seconds. The ‘wall’ brings together a constant chugging like motor tone, a juddering purr, a jitter static grain, and a far-off mechanical-like rattle 'n’ hack. Together, these elements create a dense, yet oddly soothing ‘wall’ that manages to both sink deep into your bones, but also oddly relax you too.
If you have a preference for the more ambient and fixed side of the walled noise scene, then Three Times Infinite will most certainly be enjoyed. It’s a release you just have to let yourself sink into, savouring its steady churning/semi-industrial mass. Roger Batty
