Contemplation Of The Endless Collapse is a forty-five minute wall noise ride- which blends bass bounding rolling heaviness, with shifting hissing, and subtle layer detail. This is the first release from respected Polish project Sado Rituals in some time.

This is a digital release from Poland’s Gates Of Hypnos- cover artwork wise we have a stark monochrome photo of the shell of a crashed plane sitting in a snowbound/ barren landscape. The release can be found here. 

The single self-titled track comes in at dead on the forty-five minute mark, and we find out from the release's write-up, that the track was originally created for a split that never happened sometime back. 

The ‘wall’ opens with a blend of steadily pelting and baying static grain ‘n’ gritty- very much sounding like a slowly moving snow storm on the cusp of a grey’ foreboding dusk. Fairly soon, the steady and thick flow of churning low end appears, as well as maps of sweeping grit and hiss.

As the track moves on, we get subtly moody layer shifts of more tumble bound bass heaviness, cluttering grain descends, barren rattles, distant knock 'n' sway, and cascading buffer. There’s a great sense of both bone crushing heaviness, rewarding detail, and tons of bleak atmosphere.

It certainly is great to have Sado Rituals back creating work again, and if you dig where bone grinding bass heaviness meets atmospheric shift, then  Contemplation Of The Endless Collapse will appeal.
