This decidedly blunt and charmingly entitled release features a single-slice ruggedly rolling & tautly seared walled noise from this New Jersey’s Magda.  The track slides in just under the nineteen-minute mark, providing an unforgiving & intense ride.

This release is a digital-only affair, which is self by the project itself. Cover artwork wise we have a monochrome picture of a woman sitting at a dining table- in front of her is an empty plate, she is lighting a smoke, and her breasts are uncovered in a very ‘screw you’ sentiment. The track here rolls in an eighteen-minute and thirty-three-second mark and after a sustained & ear-scorching high-end dwell, we’re into the wall. This is a decidedly rapid and roughshod affair- though it’s built around two fairly set elements. There’s a mid-range buffeting chugg and a grating jitter- it all rather sounds like a steam train running at its highest gear. There’s a feeling of both pressurized tension & rugged brutality about the whole thing, and it remains urgent/engaging enough throughout its runtime.

It must be a few months since I’ve heard anything from Magda, so I’m glad to hear it’s still active. If you are looking for a nicely keen & rapid slab of HNW, then Cunt/ 2 will fit your need.
