Stimbox - Lazer Noise Up Your Arse [Hebi Like a Snake - 2006]

Lazer noise up your arse collects together various tracks  from  2001 to 2004  by noise moulder Stimbox aka Tim Oliveira. Theirs a good selection of different length and textured tracks here from  ten to twenty  minute growing and seething extremes , to minute long short shape shocks of  vomited psychedelic noise.

California scheming stars things in nice building intensity fashion with circling and streached tones that become more and more intense then drop to echoing off pluses. You keep wondering  if he can make it any harsher, but which each attack it's teeth grindly so. It feels like a huge electronic shark circle and circle , every now and then going in for another more intense electro brain bite. He  manages to keep the track ominous and interesting through out it’s twenty  minute running time. Squid Ripper finds as a float on a sea of sinister and shrieking tones and barren skin cooking cross winds of eerier sound. Giving this a wonderfully windswept deserted desert town feeling. Were very unpleasant things going on behind peeling sun yellowed  wooden shuttered  windows, bodies duct taped to decaying tables and vomiting though tears and shame. The last half of the cd is made up  21 of very satisfying electrons to head minute shocks  and quick burns of viper lasher and electric cord whippings of sound, that stand well on there own or as one long torture. All making a nice contrast to the longer start up tracks.

Tim Oliveira has been pry his noise trade for over ten years now and it certainly shows from the depth and Individuality of sound. Balancing perfectly the need for brutality with seething teeth charting grim atmospherics. To buy direct and find out more go here.
