Krovopuskanieis a dark ambient/death industrial project hailing from Russia, with their first release on Bandcamp appearing in 2020. The name translated to English means ‘bloodletting’ or  ‘therapeutic phlebotomy’, the withdrawal of blood from a patient, for various medical reasons; so a neat name.

Verbal in terms of plurality, Morbid Intentions / The Temptation To Not Exist balances adequately within the margins of the genre, variating between harshness and ambient. The album is soaked in a distorted yet ritualistic output in the vein of Atrax Morgue, Anenzephalia and such, with a monolithic sense of macabre, evident throughout this nightmarish sonic mosaic. 

Morbid Intentions / The Temptation To Not Exist has all the characteristics of dark ambient and death industrial combined, being a fine example of that unholy marriage. It ventures steadily into known and classic paths and approaches: atmospheric yet abrasive, excessive use of loops, drones and samples merging with each other, scattered voices concealed under a thick veil of effects, dense aesthetics bearing the stench of death and an apocalyptic low-end rumbling, upon which everything gradually unfolds. Seven pieces clocking to a little more than forty-three minutes, seven pieces of artistic nihilism and suffocating vibes. 

Meditative and strict, Krovopuskanie are a solid and noticeable addition to the contemporary dark music current. And I have a deep craving for more!. Check it out for yourself here
