Go to the Andy Ortmann & John Wiese website  Andy Ortmann & John Wiese - Recorder out of tune [Nihilist records - 2006]

Recorder out of tune is a collection of shudder inducing  nightmarish audio hiccups, gruelling stretches of bile inducing sound and sour tones. Which will have you teetering on the edge of sanity and sickness; this is prime noise  for unhinging minds.

Ortmann and Wiese offer up four  varied  tracks of twisted noise scapes and violating ambient stretches. This comes across more hazed and fuzzy and  Less piling on clattering chaos, than much  of Wiese work. They layer in animal sounds, strange field recordings, medical corridor trapped air hoverings, stomach acid tasting trips into scraping along nerver ending pitches, nausea inducing modified reaching tones, all touched by a claustrophobic air . You feel like your free falling through a very damaged brain. Your body and mind juddering and internally convulsing, as you slip though vision's of melted and vomited on human faces. Sharpening of  knifes, over nervous  chattering- flesh peeling and bubbling from twitching limbs. Headless horse roundabouts , whizzing round and round, erratic showers of faeces and stomach irruptions raining down, on the trapped riders. Clawing smell of teeming maggot, ridden flesh folds-faces with lulling tongues head butting mirrors. This is dangerous sound work indeed, one wonders if a health warning should have been printed on the cd sleeve.

Approach with caution, not for those with weak heart or of a nervous disposition. I recommend not playing too soon after consumption of food, Or after a distressing emotion time, this surely could push you over the edge. approach with great caution. For sound samples and more audio displeasure hook yourself into here.
