Niezwyciê¿ony - Stereo Biodissector [Toxic Industries/Irritant Series - 2011]

“Stereo Biodissector” is the second release from this walled noise/ static textured meets machine drone project. Niezwyciê¿ony brings together Italian based Fabrizio De Bon (of HN/HNW project Fukte & runner of Toxic Industries label). And Sarajevo based Neven Misaljevich ( of chilling HNW project Smrznik, and one of the three minds behind the Zvukovina label.)

I’ll have to admit that this projects first release “The Last Command” (on Zvukovina in early 2011) rather underwhelmed me with it’s intense through rather lacklustre mix of hopeless, pressing & unmoving machine drones, with jittering 'n' juddering static texturing. So I approached this new release with caution not knowing quite what to expect, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised, and rather taken by “Stereo Biodissector”.

The release comes in the form of a CDR, and features just one long self-titled track that comes in at the just shy of the firty one minute mark. The tracks a great ‘n’ perfect balanced mixture of Misaljevich cold ‘n’ tense static making, and De Bon’s edgy yet controlled noise texturing.  The track starts off in rather strange & surreal fashion with a slurred male english voice talking about madness over a canvas of jittering fuzz of static & a lonesome/creepy  tinkling texture.  With in just under the minute mark the tinkling tone & dialogue have disappeared, and we’re into the chilling yet taut confines of the ‘wall’.  The ‘wall’s’ built around a continual grey 'n' chilling fridge compressor like machine drone, and this is over fed by a thin ‘n’ fixed line of jittering/buzzing mid tone noise- around these two main tones are a few sub tones like a very thin static crackling, and a distant locked  rumble. The ‘wall’ unfolds in a very chilling, at times creepy, but always edgy pace- as the track progresses I’m sure I can make out subtle shifts with in both of the main tones, but of course that could be just my imagination.

So to sum up “Stereo Biodissector” is a very rewarding & hypnotic slice of cold yet edgy static texturing & machine drone. The track mangers to take both parties noise making strengths to create a really taut yet enveloping piece of HNW/ drone matter.
