What we're being offered here is around nineteen minutes of classic, fierce static noise harsh assault, a bit in the vein of Werewolf Jerusalem to my ears. Probably Mr. Ramirez used the same old portable radio that has been Werewolf Jerusalem's primary sound source for years?

"Choke on It A little, Then Swallow" is heavy on high and treble frequencies, with a few shifts here and there and a quick fade out at the end. The frequency changes and a little detour in high pitch feedback prevent it from being a pure Harsh Noise Wall release.

This kind of sound is always a pleasure for me: it's basic, strong and straight to the point just as it should be. Couple it with the brutal gay pornography depicted on the back cover (a nice and uplifting fisting scene, with the guy's arm going in all the way to the elbow) and you'll get a beautiful, quintessential harsh noise release.

Due to the very limited nature of this mini CDr and to the fact that it adds nothing new (but really, why should it?) to the immense discography of this American artist, I recommend it only to Ramirez completists, if such thing is even remotely possible. It may not become a classic, but go ahead and get it if you find it for cheap.
