Heavy on the noise it is; but with a nimble hand Inhalant punctuates the din with subtle flourishes of mechanical drones and fuzzy vocals.  “Death Is Laughing” entwines high pitched screaming vocal effects with a low frequency hum producing a drone of noisy static.  “No Surrender” has a fantastic relentless pummeling of industrial sounds (albeit they can be a bit too high pitched for the ears).  On “Lick The Dead” a sinister machine-like effect produces a creepy atmosphere, rounded out by the sound of low pitched static.  The final and title track “Save Our Souls” is a fierce wall of screaming noise plain and simple.  The only downside would be the vocals tend to be a shade redundant.  The use of vocal loops in “All Or Nothing” is the only variation on this; and Inhalants manipulation of them is a welcome change.

A fine work indeed, influences of Churner and Deathpile are heard.  Loud, sputtering burst of noise tempered with ear-splitting effects.  That might not sound like the makings for an impressive release yet Inhalant deliver with a sinister creation.
