On this 3inch cdr is a single nineteen minute self titled  track, which is an vigorous and unrelenting slice of active 'n' shifting walled-attack. The ‘wall’ starts off being built around this raging and slightly discordant synth like throb or textual drill- this tone is attacked by set of rapid and violent battering juddering tones. By the two and a half minute mark this slipping ‘n’ grating fan belt tone is added to the ‘walls’ mix, and this nicely notchs up the tension and intensity of the track, yet it soon nicely mixers into the walls structure.

Mid-way though the track  thins out briefly for the central synth/electro throb to stand on it’s own for a few seconds. Before the ‘wall’  once more kicks back in even dense, more ferocious then before with juddering banks of thick throb electronics, meeting grating and accelerating fan belt tonalities, and general bombarding and layered noise attack.

As with most releases put out by this great French HNW label this features great, stark and atmospheric black ‘n’ white photograph cover taken by the labels head(Greg whose also the mind behind HNW project Å). This time around the pictures' of a  fluid splattered ‘n’ slashed surface- this nicely captures the darting yet controlled urgency of the track on offer here.

So “The Only way out” is a very urgent, shifting and multi-layered slice of wall-making that’s guaranteed to shake you up. This is only for those who like there ‘wall’ more active ‘n’ altering.
