Sonically An Innocent Young Throat-Cutter (which are of course are Richard Ramirez of Werewolf Jerusalem, Black Leather Jesus, ect  & Cristiano Renzoni of Alo Girl & runner of the Urashima label) are on fine searing & at times quite twisted/mind-altering HNW form. Up first we have the longest on the two tracks on offer here which is entitled ‘The Sensuous Doll’ and comes in at just under the 35 minute mark. The track jumps straight in with a thick & off- balancing wall of noise which finds the pair cleverly alternate & shifting layers of rolling static in quite a brain screwing manner. What happens through-out the entire track is they suddenly shifting or stop ‘n’ starting different layers of the wall which really screws with your head when your trying to get in-tranced by the wall. It’s almost like the mental equivalent of walking along a seemingly flat floor that’s full of sudden dips, holes & random texture changes. Yet for all this shifting on layers the track remains very thick & implementable though-out. It’s a very cleverly made & reward ‘wall’ which really does keep you slightly unhinged & on your (mental) toes though-out

Lastly we have  the  just under eight minutes of ‘The Subservient Doll’ which starts out with a short snippet of  dialogue from the English dubbed version of the film ( I presume) which has two male characters discussing a women going missing. Then we're quickly thrown into a torrent of ‘wall’ noise making that sounds like an amped-up, feed-back fucked & hellish recording of water running down a plug-hole; very fast indeed.  The centre & main tone is quite high pitched & almost swirl, but certainly drill in its feel; with deeper rumbling sub-pitchers going on in the back ground. Again another very effective ‘wall’ that doesn’t quite screw with your head the same way the first track did, but it’s still a damn fine & brutally morish wall.

Yet another highly rewarding release from this pair- with ‘La Rossa Dalla Pelle Che Scotta’ offer up some of the most creative & cleverly constructed HNW your likely to hear anywhere. This really shows once more that An Innocent Young Throat-Cutter is one of the most consistent, blanced & enjoyable of the many projects that Richard Ramirez is involved with.
