Miss High Heel - The Family’s Hot daughter [Blossoming Noise - 2008]

The Family’s Hot daughter is an manic and deranged rush of an album, the tracks like one sonic heart attack after another mixing together in a derange and chaotic manner death metal, noise, electronics, jazz, avant rock, bent cinematics and everything and anything they fancy throw into the sonic attack on the sensors.

Unlike something like Naked City that’s chaotic yet planed and executed with really instrumental flare, this is complete and utter chaos the tracks have little or any form they just rush at you a mess of bent deranged vocals and equal abused and run into each other musically genres underneath with all it, often all been cut-up in an jarring and manic manner too.

The  manic, deranged and shear chaos of the the albums 70 minutes  running time was birthed, abused and general fucked with by James Marlon Magas (Magas, Lake of Dracula, Couch), Tom Smith (To Live and Shave in L.A., OHNE, Peach of Immortality.) Weasel Walter (Flying Luttenbachers, Lake of Dracula) Azita Youseffi (Scissor Girls, Bride of NoNo) Jim O'Rourke (Sonic Youth), Jodi McCann (Monotrona, Duotron), Chuck Falzone and Bill Pisarri (of the mid-90s incarnation of the Luttenbachers), Mike Green (Boat Of , Wyfe, The Fans.), and Nandor Nevai (The Restaurants).  Really I can't remember an album been this damaged, manic, breathless and unforgiving- there are rarely any let up ups or comedowns, this jumps on you again and again leaving you at the end of the album a jittering wreck. And to top it all off we’ve got a great disturbing Trevor Brown cover with an amputee young women in a wheel chair with a bondage cag in.

A really unforgiving, deranged and manic sonic attack on all your sensors, That brutal mixers together all manner of musically fair, noise and chaos. Have some drink or another form of calm down ready for when this jabbering, mouth foaming beast of an album has finished with you.
