Rst - Axes [Last Visble Dog - 2007]

Axes offers up a gateway into vast sound space ways and intergalactic slipstream. It’s a collection of Ambient guitar scapes that manage to paint the wonder, loneliness, vastness of space it self.

Rst  is the product of new Zealander Andrew Moon and his layered of guitars and effect twisting, making sound moments that are both beautiful and twinkling , yet murky and hazy and vertigo inducing like staring off down into a million mile drop  through star constellations and cosmic debris. He never over layers or complicates the tracks, each one is built around a slow, pretty and lonely harmonic unfold, with feedback hum emanating and float around it in seemly zero gravity. Each slowly, but surly lulls you into a hazed and tranquil state, were one is very much aware of ones own existence, the pure weight of space, and the wonder and sadness of space walks.

Primed perfect for staring up at the stars on a crisp spring night or inner explorations of ones own inner constellations.
