Instead of giving you a few macabre and boiling intensity audio shots, Here they streached the electronic unpleasantness and grim saturated synth swells for one long near on forty five minute spell on the audio operating table.  The track is built around murky and often painful synth temple throbs, serrated noise elements that fuzz and seethe. They aptly build the sound air to the point where you feel all the grey builds ,Car  fume disgarge and pale faces of city life  pressing in on you surrounding your every turn- the air growing thin and  stale. As high pitches of sound are fired into  your brain. Things seem to settle for a moment in looped gichty static- like float in a detuned TV, before the power it’s flick back on once more and the pressing-in begins again, as they build up the layers of static & electro throbbing on & off. The sound carries on growing then, dipping for the rest of the albums life,  calmer dwells ushers in strange half heard samples and slow glighty builds- that make you feel very lost and uneasy.

Skull Defekts have managed to capture a similar feeling of electro alienation and modern life dread that early Throbbing Gristle did, but brought it slam up-to-date. Into the world of flickering loneliness of Net riders, featureless corporate owned cites and dead eyed consumer ready off-spring hunch over plasma screens.
