No Fun HNW - Bleached Bones Flayed Skin [ Dying Monolithic HNW - 2025]Bleached Bones Flayed Skin is decidedly gnarly ‘n’ ragged example of the wall-noise form. The dead on twenty-minute track finds this Scranton, South Carolina project serving up yet another example of crude & corrupted walling. This EP( I guess) appears on Dying Monolithic HNW, which is a recently set up label from Kry Marshall, who's also behind the project to hand. It’s a digital release, with a fitting crude and monochrome cover art, featuring a slightly smashed/ malformed skull, and basic texts. The release can be found here.
The ‘wall’ is built around a decidedly roughshod blend of unevenly juddering low end, slightly skewed/ constantly flowing static jitter, and these off-pattern sub-tone knocks, grainy hacks, and cluttering grain detail. With a shift/ dragging brought into the wall as it proceeds
The track brings to mind some form of worn-out/semi-broken, multi-limbed machinery trying to dig through rotting, fly-buzzing, and half-skinned limb-ladened earth. With some great haphazard/ necro detail appearing along its length.
If you dig crude/ nasty wall-craft with a decidedly necro edge then, Bleached Bones Flayed Skin will appeal. Roger Batty
