Feasting On Craved Remains is a recent five track EP from Torsofuck-a organ gurgling death metal three piece from Finland. The project has been active on and off since the mid 90’s to present day- never comprising/ diluting their nasty/ lo-fi sound.

The CD comes presented in a clear jewel case. This features a monochrome picture of a lying on grass corpse, with half its face eaten off, arms removed, and legs mauled at. Sadly, there is no lyric sheet- which is a real pity, because as you can imagine, you can’t make out any of them.

We open “Sickering Steach” which is all manically cluttered drums, barked bays ‘n’ deep crumbles, with fuzzed guitar chugs. As we move on we have the bounding guitar ‘n’ bass, deep guttural purrs, pummelling percussion, and sudden bass break downs of “Mummified Abortion”. With the EP playing out with the title track, which is all slugging/ murky chugs, baying growls, and almost goose-stepping drums.

As crude and low-fi death metal go, Feasting On Craved Remains is just fine, though it does really lack any memorability or variation. Though if you're after just nasty DM, this fits well enough, like blood and shreaded organ ribbed glove.
