Ensnare is a just over thirty-minute slab of grating, hissing, and cluttering walled noise from this highly prolific UK project.  There is most certainly a decidedly busy and detailed industrial vibe to this wall’s focus, which never lets up in its unrelenting attack.

This is a self-released digital download- with the project putting out new work most weeks of the year. Cover artwork-wise we have a monochrome print of an Industrial Revolution factory- filled with large steam-powered machines, and busy-looking men in flat caps. The release can be downloaded here. 

The single self-titled track is built around a dense and busy ‘wall’ bringing together cluttering static hacks, rolling chugs, skitter hiss, forking juts, bashing rings, and ratting ling purrs. One literally feels like their been fed through an antiquated/ slowly failing machine- with loose cogs flying, fan belt slipping, gears grinding, and slow collapsing pipe strictures. Leaving on nicely brutalized after its run.

Ensnare is an original enough example of the wall- and if you are after that fed through the back of a machine overlaid- this will certainly fix that need.
