Death To Dynamics - Deception [Death To Dynamics - 2024]Deception is just under half an hour wall from Death To Dynamics. It finds the UK project blending rapid-slightly- bucking rumble with smaller static bound skips, for an attention-fixing example of the walled noise form. This is a self-released digital affair- cover artwork we get what looks like an old drawing of two medieval doctors/wizards at a table collecting together items for a spell/ potion, one of these items is a severed human foot. The release can be found here
The single self-titled track comes in at twenty-six minutes and thirteen-second mark. The ‘walls’ is a simple- yet- effective blend of a rapid rumble, and gritty static bound sub-tones. The rumble feels slightly uneven/bucking-like in its attack, and the skips feels both fleeting yet firm too. I think the ancient doctor-like imagery is great, as the ‘wall’ does have the vibe of bubbling ‘n’ boiling liquids in stone or copper receptacles.
Deception is another engaging example of the wall noise from Death To Dynamics, who of late has become the most prolific and active names with- in the British/European scene- as they are seemingly releasing something every week. Roger Batty
