Norwegian Magenta released their new single "All Over" on may 27th. Besides the titlesong the CD includes the ballad "Mermaid" and a bonustrack called "Heroine". The next Magenta full lenght "Little Girl Lost" will be out on 24 june on Re-Pop records.

"Tides Of Tomorrow", the new Cave In EP with 5 brand new songs and 1 cover song will released on October 15th, 2002. The EP was recorded with Andrew Schneider in April. It will be released by Hydra Head Records along with BMG Distribution.

Violinist Eyvind Kang is working various CD's: Virginal Co-ordinates (with Mike Patton and Tim Young) and Live Low To The Earth (with the Neti-Neti Band). Also a stringproject called Petrified Wood and a duet with Persian tar virtuose Amir Koushkani. If that's not enough he also is mixing a CD he recorded with Icelanding musicians Hilmar Jenson, Mathias Hemstock and Skulli Sverrisson. More info in this interview.

Snoop Dogg and Bootsy Collins collaborated for the soundtrack of the comedy Undercover Brother. At the moviesite you can watch the video with a Buckethead cameo appearance. They will perform the Parliament-classic 10th of July at the Espy Awards with an all-star P-Funk band featuring Fuzzy, Grady, Ray, Bernie Worrell and Fred Wesley.

Vocalist Percy Howard, who released two albums with Nús, is currently working on a prestigious third album by Meridiem. Among the collaborators a lot of famous guests: Jarboe (Swans), Vernon Reid (Living Colour), Buckethead (Guns 'n' Roses), Bill Laswell, Trey Gunn (King Crimson), Robert Rich and Eraldo Bernocchi to name a few.

Queensryche-guitarist Kelly Gray has left the band. Contrary to rumours, original guitarist Chris DeGarmo will not re-enter the band. They plan to rely on guestplayers and -writers if the need arises, said vocalist Geoff Tate.

Gravem (ex-Euroboys/Cavemen) on bass, Sigve Høghaug on guitar, Kasper Pedersen on guitar and slide, Johan Fodstad Larsen on percussion and Tore Ylwizaker (Ulver) on keyboards and effects. Front Line Assembly appeared without Bill Leeb at Wave Gotik Treffen? The organizers of WGT are 'not very happy', but still unsure if they got screwed. The fake 'Bill Leeb' guy arrived with dark sunglasses and a kind of ski-cap that covered half of his head a few minutes before the show started. After the show he immediately disappeared. 'Bill' didn't even come backstage - he went back to the hotel and was not seen by anyone. Wave Gotik Treffen are not responsible for this. More at Moving Hands zine.
