Marjolein Meijers, better known as 'Annie' from De Berini's, started a band with Fred Piek, formerly from Dutch folkband Fungus. Walter Kuipers and Izak Boom joined them to play cozy four-voiced Western swing, bluegrass and country. Lyrics are translated in Dutch by themselves with a humourous touch.

Isis has finished their debut record "Oceanic" for Ipecac Records, with producer Matt Bayles. Among the tracks to be included are "The Beginning and the End", "False Light", and "Hymn", with the material being described as a mix between the old Isis and Mogwai.
