Massive Attack will finally release a new album. 100th Window is scheduled for february 2003, with Special Cases being issued a couple of weeks in advance as the lead single. Robert "3-D" Del Naja is the only original member left, and so he will be joined by several guests, such as Damon Albarn, Horace Andy and Sinead O'Connor. A follow-up record is already in the works and should be released within twelve months after 100th Window... which means we might hear it somewhere around 2006.

4 years after the release of Psyence Fiction, James Lavelle has "relaunched" his Unkle project. The involment of DJ Shadow has not been confirmed but Queens of the stone age's Josh Homme should sing on a few tracks.

The End Records will release the new Ulver album, Lyckantropen Themes - Original Soundtrack For The Short Film By Steve Ericsson and Star Of Ash - Iter.Viator on january 14th in the USA. Both albums were recently released in Norway by Jester Records. The rest of Europe should be able to get it around the same time as the USA. The End Records put up a sample from one of the new Ulver tracks right here (right click to download). You can expect a review on this site of Lyckantropen pretty soon.

Bad news, the Ipecac Helloween show in NY has been cancelled. To make a long story short: It seems that the venue that was hosting the party somehow booked 2 shows for the same night. For reasons unknown they decided to honor the other artist his contract and not Ipecac's. The label is looking into potential legal action because they lost a lot of money with this 'mistake'.
System Of A Down will release Steal This Album, a CD containing Internet-leaked cuts from the Toxicity sessions and other unreleased tunes, before year's end.
