Mimicry Recordings will release three (!) new Secret Chiefs 3-CD's in 2003. It will be a 'single meta-album' in 3 parts called The Book Of Truth. Besides that in August the new Estradasphere-album will be released and if that's not enough also Sleepytime Gorilla Museum will drop their sophomore album.
Venetian Snares said in an interview with Playboy that he's working on an album, together with his girlfriend Rachael Kozak (who performs under the alias Hecate), created exclusively from samples recorded during sex. The album will be called Nymphomatriarch and is set to be released in spring 2003 on Hymen.

Finally Jaga Jazzist updates their website. First GSL will release an Animal Chin 10" and CD/EP in January. The video of this track is also rotating on MTV:New and ZTV and can be view on the Ninja Tune website. The Days 12" is out now on Smalltown Supersound. New album The Stix (already out in Norway) will be released in the rest of Europe by Ninja Tune / Smalltown Supersound in March/April 2003.
Queens Of The Stone Age mainman Josh Homme has asked PJ Harvey to appear on his Desert Sessions, volume nine. Ipecac Records will be releasing this album next year.
Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien has told XFM Online that the recording for Radiohead studio album #6 is going quite well. O'Brien proclaimed, "As I always say, it's gonna be an album of three minute pop songs. That's what they always say but that's what it is this time." The band is aiming for a March 2003 release for the album, which is currently without a definite tracklist and title.

Prog-rock masters Anekdoten is currently working on pre-productions for their fourth studio album. The recordings will start in January at Studio Atlantis. The release date is not yet scheduled.
The new Strapping Young Lad album is set up for a release on 11 February with the release of The Devin Townsend Band following 2-3 weeks later. Europeans can see these two bands and Zimmers Hole on a tour starting in March 19 and ending on April 15. The first scheduled dates are as follows: March 19: Garage - Glasgow, UK. Jørn Lande has left ARK. It is said Tore Østby and John Macaluso wanted to start recording the next album but Jørn felt it to be too early. He hooked up with ex-Halloween-guitarist Roland Grapow to form Masterplan, whose debut-album will be released shortly.
February 2003 will see the release of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' 12th album, Nocturama. Said to be pretty much in a similar vein to No more shall we part, it was recorded in one week. Nick Cave has already written 50% of what will be the Bad Seeds' 13th release...

The new Beyond Dawn album will be called FRYSH. The release date is still not confirmed, but sometime somewhere around february 2003 it will be released by Peaceville. A double 12" remix vinyl of Beyond Dawn is also on its way. With remixes from Trulz&Robin, Verbose, Bjørn Svin, Eva Cazal, Martin Horntvedt, Nextlife, Vildensky and Origami. In a recent interview posted on Epitaph Records' website, Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan revealed plans for the group's next full-length: originally slated for a December 2002 release, the album has now been delayed until mid-2003. Puciato blames the delay on their headlining tour and opening slot for System of a Down earlier this year. And more bad luck: the band will not release their planned split with The Icarus Line. Puciato said any other extra work would push the upcoming full-length back even further. The new record is also presently without title or parent label.
According to an update at Interpol's official website, they've expanded their December tour of the East Coast to include Philadelphia, Atlanta and Boston, as well as an additional already sold-out third night at New York City's Bowery Ballroom. Ipecac Records news! Tomahawk is almost done with their new record which will be released around april. Preproduction on the new Fantômas and Peeping Tom has begun. Fantômas will be released this summer, while Peeping Tom is scheduled for early 2004.
