The album concocted by Van Dyke Parks and Brian Wilson in the late ’60's is the holy grail for Beach Boys addicts as it originally was turned down by the recordcompany for being too weird. It became the little more conventional Smiley Smile.

He spent a part of the night in jail after a scuffle with policemen. Read the whole story here. Time will tell if it will have an effect on the 30th anniversary tour that Rush planned for this year.

Multi-platinum-selling rapstar DMX, who holds a record for having his first 5 albums going straight to no. 1 in the US-charts in the first week, has performed really bad on a recent show in the Netherlands. Backstage he seemed confused and made a fuss about milk for his cornflakes. The reason is said to be that he saw The Light the day before. God (no less) appeared to him and told him his negative messages of his music should stop. Cross fingers he will make the same careermove as Ma$e, who quit the game to dedicate his life to God (and along the way deliver us, simple mortals, from his rap-'talents').

Anathema will release their new album October 20th. It seem they left the poppier path of A Fine Day To Exit as guitarist Daniel says on their site: 'You can expect a variety of songs and soundscapes on this one, from peaceful and ambient tones, to sonically massive great noises that we are barely able to control.'
