The really limited Hemophiliac album, by John Zorn, Mike Patton and Ikue Mori can now be pre-ordered through the Tzadik website. The album is scheduled for early june, so it won't be shipped till then.

Hemophiliac

The album "Hemophiliac", a cooperation of John Zorn, Mike Patton and Ikue Mori will be a limited autographed edition 2 CD set of 2,500 copies worldwide. Recorded in various locations, enclosed in bizarre packaging and bound to disappear quickly. The disc will only be sold through the DMG, Tzadik and Ipecac websites. Due to be released on June 1st, the approximate cost is $45.

England's Antimatter, featuring ex-Anathema bassist Duncan Patterson, has signed a distribution deal in Germany, Austria and other select countries through Prophecy Productions (Green Carnation, In The Woods).

Norway's Solefald are back in the studio, recording their fourth, still untitled album. The music will be a continuation of "Pills Against The Ageless Ills", with a little more 'edge'.

The new Dark Tranquillity album "Damage Done" will be released in Europe and the states on july 22nd. No info on the Japanse release date yet, but the obligatory bonus song will be "The Poison Well".

I will move to the east coast because on october 31st, 2002 at Irving Plaza, New York these bands will play: Tomahawk, FantômasMelvins Big Band, Isis, Dälek and even more! Ipecac Records will have ticket price and more details soon. They are trying to work out a way to sell tickets through their website for one week before they are available to everyone else.

So what can we expect from Mike Patton? He is finally recording the Dillinger Escape Plan EP, he hopes to start work on Peeping Tom in May, hopes to work on new Fantômas and Tomahawk records this fall for release in 2003 and has a couple other projects in the planning stages. And Tomahawk looks to be playing more US, European and Australian dates before the end of the year.

According to the Brainwashed Brain. Full information about the "Megalithomania" event that Coil will be performing in London on October 12th has been posted at the Coil web site. There is also a bit of info on what the audience can expect from their upcoming performance at the New Forms festival in Den Haag, Holland, on June 7th, and some vague plans for shows throughout the world in late 2002 and into 2003.

The Microphones have set a US release date of August 6th for the 22-track singles and rarities compilation "Song Islands". The album will be preceded on July 16th by a seven-inch single with the new songs "Lanterns" and "Antlers."

Finnish ...And Oceans have set Cypher as the title of their forthcoming full-length album. Recorded at Abyss Studios with producer Tommy Tagtgren, Cypher is already being touted as the perfect fusion of metal and industrial.
