Shivaree's new album "Rough Dreams" will be in stores on September 10, 2002. Be sure to check them out if you like modern jazz with pop and electronic influences. Mogwai started recording their 4th album in Glasgow with Tony Doogan as producer. The band asks people to start sending items for the 1997-1998 history section of their site. Setlists, posters, photos etc are all welcome.

Former Verve singer Richard Ashcroft has offered up "Human Conditions" as the title for his second solo album, due in October. Meanwhile, Ashcroft insists he's currently on a creative roll, and will have the disc’s follow-up ready for release within the space of a year.
Fear Factory's last-ever studio recording "Terminate" (from the soundtrack to the forthcoming Playstation 2 game Terminator - Dawn Of Fate), can be downloaded from their official site. "Terminate" was written and recorded after the band broke up, with members laying down their respective parts separately on March 12th at American Studios in Hollywood with producer Rick Will.
Poor Marilyn Manson. He apparently pushed himself to his physical limits recently while recording his upcoming album "The Golden Age of Grotesque". "I landed myself in the hospital as a result of 'going too far' in the creation process", Manson writes on his website. "I am fine now and glad to be back in the studio".
Dissection announced that former Emperor drummer Bard G. Eithun (aka Faust) will be their new drummer for their comeback after frontman Jon Nödtveits release from prison in autumn 2004. The band will start rehearsing during spring 2003. More info is still unknown at this point.

The Polish band The Man Called Tea, with ex-members of Sirrah, are working on their second album. Tracks are composed and partially recorded. They found a drummer and bassist, and thanks to them the band will be able to do some live performances. The new stuff is much warmer and faster than the first album. Hooverphonic have completed shooting the video for their upcoming first single from their much-anticipated fourth album. The release for the new single has been rumoured to be released in August. No word yet when the album will be out.
The Asian Dub Foundation album is near completion. The new album, set for release in spring 2003, and features contributions from Ed O'Brien from Radiohead. They play together on 2 tracks.
The new EP 'Irony is a Dead Scene' from the collaboration with the Dillinger Escape Plan and Mike Patton will feature these tracks: 1. When Good Dogs Do Bad Things, 2. Pig Latin, 3. Rock, Paper, Scissors, 4. Come to Daddy (aphex twin cover). The effort is slated for an August 27th release through Epitaph.

Nevermore has entered the pre-production stage of their highly new album 'Enemies of Reality'. So far, seven songs have been completed. Nevermore are expected to enter an unspecified studio with producer Andy Sneap to record the album sometime this fall. An early 2003 release through Century Media Records is expected.
