Warp Records will release double-disc packages. The first is a 5" CDEP from Autechre titled Gantz Graf, which features three new tracks and an additional 5" DVD video. The bonus disc includes all three Autechre videos. The EP will hit stores on August 6th. The second release won't come out until October 1st, it's a brand new Squarepusher album titled Do You Know Squarepusher. The disc is said to be quite a departure from the drill-n-bass. Included is an additional disc titled Alive in Japan July 2001, a ten-track, 60+ minute live recording of the final show of his last tour.

Epic Records recently announced the signing of Tori Amos. Her upcoming album Scarlet's Walk was self-produced and recorded in Cornwall, England. It features performances by her long-time collaborators Jon Evans on bass and Matt Chamberlain on drums. The record's first single A Sorta Fairytale will out in mid-September. The album will be available in stores on October 29th.

Gåte has now ended their recordings for the upcoming album. It will be in the Norwegian shops on 16th September. The band has also done some Festival gigs inbetween the recordings, and will continue at three more Festivals in July/August. Then it's time to start preparing for the autumn tour in october.

Kranky are reissuing Avec Laudenum from Stars of the Lid on October 21st. Surprisingly poor distribution made this disc hard to find during its first run on Sub Rosa. The disc will now be readily available in North America. A tour is shaping up for SOTL with tentative dates now listed on the website.

Aghora's Mainman Santiago Dobles is recording right now the new album titled Formless with the new line-up, including new drummer Richard Komatz and new bass player Alan Goldstein (replacing Sean Reinert and Sean Malone), plus sister-vocalist Danishta Rivero. New songs are more alive and organic and the new album is expected this autumn on Code666.

The current incarnation of Voivod are in the process of recording demos for their new studio album, according to a posting on the website of Newsted's label Chophouse Records. "The quartet and producer Brian Joseph Dobbs plan to record a new album later this year," continues the brief message. Although no official word has come down on the matter, it is believed that the CD will surface through Century Media in early 2003.

Nate Dogg's tourbus as been pulled over by the police on the Interstate 40 in Arizona. Out of 7 people in the bus only Nate was formally charged with possession of marijuana (surprise!), 'drug paraphernalia', an unloaded Tech-9 and a loaded Beretta .380 that had been reported stolen at the LAPD. The gangsta-crooner got out on a $3500 bail.
