Z'ev — Symphony #2 Elementalities
It goes from deep rumbling banks of percussive ambiences, right up to crashing storms of clunking and rattling. It never really reaches the seething head burning heights of harsh noise- it really dwells in a more arty/ sound painting take of the genre. It’s all about the textured of the percussive sounds, more than pounding the listener into submission. It bring’s to mind a more subdued version of one or two of the early tracks on Merzbow’s Sphere album from last year. It certainly all has a very tangible atmosphere about it all, painting great landscapes of the yawing and steaming pits of hell in ones mind. Where demons lead once earth bond humans, to there new task in burning sulpha of mines of regret.
An accomplished and atmospheric trip into the nether regions, from one of the old master of the original industrial/ noise scene. To hear samples and order direct crash down here.
