Vomir — Untitled(IATV 03)
The track on offer here finds Vomir boiling up a thick mixture of galloping, rumbling and mid-paced ripping ‘n’ roaring noise. I guess the tracks best described as a fixed & unmoving fight between motor cycle engine rumble ‘n’ rip, slowed chainsaw purr ‘n’ tear, with a ton of extra genreal noisy crustiness throw in. The interlocking patterns cause a rather neat sonic unbalancing feel, and gives one the illusion of ripples & bucks going through the unmoving mass of walled sound.
All told it’s another effective & unflinching slice of walled noise from Vomir. The only criticism here is that the tracks mastering or transfer is done at a very low volume meaning you really have to pump your volume up to near on full to let your self become immersed in the tracks wall. (review note: I've added the releases catalogue number to the album title- so it can be told a part from the other 'untitled' Vomir we have reviewed at M[M])
