[Untitled] — II(Infinity series Part 15)
The ‘wall’ on offer here comes in at the 46.11 mark, and it severs up a rewarding yet battering slice of swirling storm bound walled noise. The thick ‘n’ fairly unmoving ‘wall’ is built around a mixture of low toned buffeting ‘n’ billowing noise that’s weaved & swirled with mid to slightly higher toned noise grains- these sonic grains slowly sear & roast with in the ‘walls’ mass. I guess if you compare it to any thing you’d say it sounded a bit like a sand storm recording that’s been slowed ‘n’ burred a little bit around the edges. The pair build a strong ‘wall’ that stays fairly fixed through-out, yet there’s a few nice subtle textural shifts ‘n’ ebbs ever so often with in the ‘walls’ dense/ battering structure- these have quite a nice industlized yet seared ANW feel to them .
I do hope Ramirez & Matzus carry on with this project, as I think it offers something just a little different from the pairs many other collaborative projects. All told this is another nicely encasing & primal wall from the [untitled] project
