Smrznik — Relations Between Static Objects

The cover of “Relations Between Static Objects” features a crude and bleak picture of a man completely warped up(except for his head) in either badgers or fabric. This is highly apt, as the bleak & static slice of HNW with-in very much feels like your been slowly enchased and restricted by unrelenting and bleak sonic wall bombardment.

On offer here is a single just shy of thirty minute track of thick, stark and chilling HNW. The 'wall' finds this Sarajevo based project in their more thick, full and overloaded form, instead of their more strip, thinner and chilled sonic frame of mind. The ‘wall’s built around a constantly rolling dry and bone chilling static roar, that’s knitted with subtle skipping and billow bound static grain. It remains mainly fixed and unmoving for its 29. 39 runtime, with the ‘wall’ starkly yet enjoyable wrapping you in it’s painful yet appealing chilling charms.
