[Barfing Dagger — 2008]

Birth Defect’s five tracks wraps it’s listener in greyed, singeing and suffocating barbwire curls of noise drones and sour feed-back trails. With each track pulling you futher and further down into a grim, festering and boiling sick drone hole.

The simple yet effective single sheet folded cover with a black and white picture of a topless skull and brain showing child on each side shows from the outset  your not in for a happy or playful time and this does not disappointing in the punishing grim electro droning states. Each track is built around series of interlocking noise drones, grey pulsing feed back stabs or grating boils overripe with grey dispear and sleaze- often the tracks seem to descend down and down like dank, decay & shit strewn spiral staircase. Or boar like a battery running down drills making grim noise holes in your mind.

A Painful yet grey & oddly catechetic collection of  bleak noise workouts. Certainly worth checking out if you enjoy your noise matter slurred and sluggish.
