[Self Release — 2026]

Prenez Votre Ticket (Take Your Ticket) is one of the longer examples of the wall form I have heard in some time. Clocking in at one hour and twenty-four minutes, the single track is all about creating a huge, murky, and rather abstract sound world, where bass-bound judder ‘n’ roll meet cluttering billows, shredding static fields, and sweeping sear blends.

This is a self-release that takes in a murky/contrast-heavy black and white photo of a neon-licked nighttime street. This is the fifty-third release from this Bordeaux project, which has been active since late last year…with a largely consistent run of great wall releases throughout.

The single track has a decidedly rapid, dense yet windswept quality about it, with all the textures blending in quite an original manner to create this warped and constantly buffeted quality. The ‘wall’ brings together baying ‘n’ banging bass tone, rolling and rattling mids, swirling static grain, and searing whiteout rush. At points, there are almost hints at formal structure, and even maybe some form of harmonic shape- but these never fully cement up or wholly jell.

At just shy of the ninety-minute mark, Prenez Votre Ticket is certainly a long time to sit within a ‘wall’, but due to its morphing & baying quality, flow, and setting, it remains compelling & rewarding throughout- so if you're looking for abstract/ brutal/ long form walling, do give this a go.
