Olion — Tear Of Fire
Tear Of Fire severs up a continuous rolling ‘n’ roasting mass of walled noise from this Polish project. The single ‘wall’ comes in at just under the twenty-minute mark- remaining firm and focused, with its constantly flaming flow throughout.
The ‘wall’ brings together a distant and low-end billowing flame tone, with a top layer of constant feasting crispy crackle. It brings to mind a huge and tall room hung with long drapes, which is completely engulfed in rapidly spreading flame. The fire-like tonalities feel so authentic that you can almost feel your cheeks warming/ starting to smart as you listen to the ‘wall’.
Active since the early 2020’s, Olion has been steadily releasing work with often interesting themes and rewarding textures involved in it.
Tear Of Fire will please those looking for more ambient, yet slowly searing side of the wall noise form.
