In A White Room is a crude’n’crusty slice of perversely themed wall matter from this South Carolina-based project. The just under nineteen-minute release bluntly purrs, clutters, and hacks along.

This is a YouTube release, and it can be found here. Artwork-wise it's a monochrome and lo-fi picture of a person dressed in an S&M bondage suit- their neck pulled up against a white tiled wall.

The release is broken into two around eight-minute tracks, with a total runtime of eighteen minutes and forty-seven seconds. So first up we have “White Room A” which is most anitaged and raw of the two tracks- it’s built around a loose, barely hanging together ‘wall’, which takes in crude purrs, cluttering mids, and hacking/ rattling thin grain noise attacks. There is some shift/ play in the flow of the elements, but it’s sluggish and crude shape remains throughout- I dug this track, and could easily have listened to it for another thirty, maybe forty minutes.

Next, we have “White Room B”  it finds a mixture of cluttering ‘n’ dragging bass purr, rattling junk like bounding, and rapidly skipping subtones. It has a similar loose feel and just hold-on structure, though for some reason I feel the textures are less rewarding & unpredictable in their unfold. It’s ok, but not as addictive as the first track.

No Fun Harsh Noise Wall is generally doing a great job at bringing out the more crude and perverse side of the wall noise form. And  In A White Room  is a prime example of just that.
